Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Alawi Luetz, M.D.

Dr. A. Luetz is a board certified anesthesiologist & intensivist. He works as a critical care consultant at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

Dr. Luetz's research has focused on improving the care and outcomes of critically ill patients with ICU-acquired brain disease. Since 2013, he is working on an award winning project, investigating new, interactive room concepts for a more patient-centered, healing ICU environment.
In 2019, he became a professor at the Technische Universität Berlin (TU-Berlin). His research wants to join forces from medical professionals, tech, and healthcare management experts to develop innovative solutions that help prevent ICU delirium & Post Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS).

Partnering with the TU-Berlin, one of the four institutions of the Berlin University Alliance, is an excellent opportunity to bring innovative and evidence-based solutions to the patients' bedside.
