Last week, the German Delirium Network was launched at the annual congress of the German interdisciplinary society of critical care and emergency medicine (DIVI).
The network aims to spread awareness and knowledge about delirium and it's impact on patients and the healthcare system. The corresponding website will provide educational materials for healthcare professionals as well as important informations for patients.
We are very happy to announce that the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) in association with Charité’s technology transfer will support further development of our prototyping software for management of delirium in critically ill patients.
We hope that this approach will not only increase implementation of delirium monitoring but more importantly will help to improve recovery of our sickest patients.
