At Berlin's Charité hospital we have redesigned two intensive care rooms. The study evaluating the impact of the new design on patients outcome is still running. One of the German TV reports is now available in English language. Enjoy!

In this prospective, international multicentre study, the authors developed and validated a model allowing early prediction of patients likely to develop delirium during ICU admission. With the E-PRE-DELIRIC model, stratification is possible immediately after ICU admission. This might help for interventions being more effective in preventing ICU delirium.
